The Tea Puppet Becomes the Master

Remember a year ago when the Republican Party saw the nascent Tea Party Movement as a tool for regaining power? Republicans started playing up to the lesser angels of Teabaggers (racism, xenophobia, islamophobia, philistinism) expecting those naive rubes would be swallowed up by the Grand Old Party.

It is the GOP that is being eaten alive. In primary after primary mainstream Republicans are being defeated by barking mad Teabagger loons. When you look at the group (Angle, O'Donnell, Paladino, etc.) and realize that Rand Paul is the most lucid of the herd you'll understand just how crazy this has become.

If you are feeling safe because the American people would never vote these psychopaths into actual power, think again.

What we demand is new, decisive, and radical, revolutionary in the truest sense of the word. That has nothing to do with rioting and barricades. It may be that that happens here or there. But it is not an inherent part of the process. Revolutions are spiritual acts. They appear first in people, then in politics and the economy. New people form new structures.
