General Stanley McChrystal is doing everything he can to get fired. The Rolling Stone profile shows he is, at best, the leader of a command staff of egocentric prima donnas. At worse, he is an insubordinate incompetent who blames everyone else in the world for his personal failures.
McChrystal didn't have a stellar reputation before being elevated to commander of Afghanistan forces by Obama. He was a known torturer and a known liar who fabricated the Pat Tillman story. His Afghan strategy has been the failure most predicted.
The President cannot allow McChrystal to remain at his post, to do so would be an incredible statement of weakness by Obama. Obama needs to demand McChrystal resign immediately.
