I feel sorry for Joe (the Plumber) Wurzelbacher.
It appears he is behind in his taxes, doesn't have a license to actually be a plumber in Ohio, and because his name is misspelled in the voter rolls under the rules Republicans were insisting upon would not be allowed to vote. At least a US Supreme Court ruling today seems to preserve his suffrage. All of these things would have certainly passed under the radar if John McCain had not chosen to make poor Joe poster boy for his campaign.
Few of us would survive the type of media attention that McCain brought down upon poor Joe. It's a shame because all Joe did was as a question of a candidate, which is his right as an American. He didn't deserve having McCain turn him into some sort of media freak.
