Rick Perry: Goober
It seem conservative pundits are just now learning what most of us knew from the start, that Gov. Rick Perry of Texas has barely enough functioning brain cells to keep a jellyfish alive. As Jim Hightower so eloquently phrased it, "He puts the Goober in Gubernatorial."

Goober was way smarter. He was also an independent thinker. Perry is neither independent nor a thinker.
