The questions people are afraid to ask: Will we go to war with Iran? Won't we go to war? Are we already at war with Iran?

She believe that Congress and the American people have no right to interfere with President Bush if he wants war with Iran. For her, whether we go to war or not is none of our business.

It is seven pieces of turgid writing that come to the same simple conclusion - Damned if we know. For them, a war would be unwinnable while any other alternative would be ineffective. Several advocate regime change but are skittish around that discredited concept. Josef Joffe is the only one to make this salient point, the Iraq War has greatly strengthened Iran while weakening the United States.
