One could write a thousand words and not says it so succinctly or so well. The United States is mired in the fifth year of a feckless, fruitless war. The nation's powerful economy has been shredded by a kleptocratic government. The phrase "sound as a dollar" has been rendered into a pathetic joke. Never in the 232 year history of this nation has the United States been held is such low regard by the rest of the world. Not since 1932 has this nation been in more need of of a sharp change. Half changes, changes of style but not substance, will be of no use. What this nation needs is a sharp, clean break from the past.
