How to Kill a Cedar

Remember the Cedar Revolution, it was only a year ago that the Lebanese peacefully drove out their Syrian occupiers. Israel is now hell bent on killing that cedar in four easy steps:

• Bomb neighborhoods with no attempt to differentiate between peaceful families and enemy soldiers,
  
• Prove the Lebanese government is impotent to protect their citizens,
• Bomb the airport and blockade the sea ports so that they have to turn to Syria for food and medicine,
  
• Create a power vacuum where the only natural successor is Syria.

It appears that Israel wants to restore Lebanon as a vassel state of Syria. No other motive explains their actions.
