Good-bye New York

This was once a place of possibility

Say good-bye to New York. So long Florida. Ta-ta, Venice, you survived the Black Death but you won't survive this. Hope you didn't like the Bahamas too much.
The global rise in the sea level is accelerating and a fate that was once thought to be centuries away may now arrived in mere decades. As the seas rise they will swallow the world's coastlines and the homes of countless millions. The good news is there are still global warming deniers so you'll have company if you just want to bury your head in the sand. Just make sure the sand is at least 20 feet above current sea level.
