The Emperor Wastes Our Clothing Allowance

We have all heard it ad nauseam, George Bush is the only thing standing between us and a horrible death at the hands of Islamofascist terrorists. Yada, yada, yada. This is how much he cares.

• The Department of Homeland Security has failed to spend over $200 million in research funds.
• Bush quietly tried to cut $6 million for airliner explosive detection technology.
• The Scotland Yard investigation into the British bomb plot has been ongoing for six months. The FBI must have been briefed.
  
• Al Qaeda tried the plans for the British bomb plot before, in 1995.
  
• Readily available liquid bombs detection technology is not and will not be used in American airports.

The arrests in Britain has revealed the dereliction of duty of the Transportation Security Administration, DHS, and President Bush. The Administration knew the propects of these types of bombings was eminently possible yet it did little to nothing. The money has been there for our protection and not used. Bush would rather we go into the skies naked.
