Here we go 'round the mulberry bush,

The internet is abuzz with changes at the White House, as if they are meaningful. HuffPost is a good example.

But, it is only a game of musical chairs. OMB (Bolton) goes to Chief-of-Staff, trade negotiator (Portman) goes to OMB, a deputy negotiator moves up a step (Susan Schwab). This is the kind of management shuffle that can give recycling a bad name.

Here we go 'round the mulberry bush,

But ... but, you say, Karl Rove got demoted. He is no longer chief policy coordinator. It is just a title, a change of cosmetics. Rove still has his security clearance, he still has every inch of power he ever did.

So early in the morning.
